Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Specialist to lead the testing process of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for manual and automated testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Create testing documents including STD, STR, SDD, SRS.
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, performance, and usability testing.
  • Design and maintain automation frameworks for continuous testing and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop test strategies and processes that align with business objectives and project timelines.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies for quality assurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience 3–5 years as a QA Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language - Java, Python, JavaScript.
  • Experience with version control systems e.g., Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Experience with API testing - Postman, RestAssured.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools - JMeter, LoadRunner.
  • Exposure to cloud environments AWS, Azure, GCP and containerised applications Docker, Kubernetes.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Certification in QA testing will be an advantage.
