We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to provide comprehensive production support for tax management systems and their integration with ERP platforms.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Indirect Taxation including Sales & Use Tax, VAT, GST, and Withholding Tax across different jurisdictions. He/She will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting tax calculation rules, tax jurisdictions, and product taxability assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Support
    • Apply expertise in Indirect Taxation including Sales & Use Tax, VAT, GST, and Withholding Tax across different jurisdictions
    • Maintain and troubleshoot tax calculation rules, tax jurisdictions, and product taxability assignments
    • Support ERP integrations with tax systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion)
    • Ensure accuracy of tax rates, exemptions, and tax determinations
    • Manage tax configuration, tax categories, and exemption certificates within tax systems
  • Tax Operations
    • Support tax reporting and compliance, including generating reports for tax filing
    • Handle tax accruals and reconciliations to ensure General Ledger accuracy
    • Receive, analyze, and prioritize related support tickets
    • Provide timely solutions to users
    • Document resolution steps and knowledge base articles
  • Technical Operations
    • Perform SQL & data analysis by querying ERP and tax system databases for tax calculations, transaction history, and reconciliation
    • Troubleshoot ERP-tax system integration issues including debugging tax calculation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Indirect Taxation including Sales & Use Tax, VAT, GST, and Withholding Tax
  • Experience with tax systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
