Job Title: Senior Staff IT Help Desk

 

The role of Senior Staff IT Help Desk involves leading the IT Support team, guiding and mentoring junior staff members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and be able to provide leadership within the team.

  • Responsible for resolving all technical escalations within the IT team that are unable to be solved by less experienced team members.
  • Conducts in-depth root cause analysis for major incidents and outages.
  • Identifies gaps in processes and procedures as part of the RCA process and implements solutions to close those gaps.
  • Collaborates with project teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and systems.
  • Provides insights from a user support perspective during the planning and implementation of IT projects.
  • Evaluates new technologies and solutions that align with IT goals and directives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Own and resolve complex technical issues

Lead large cross-functional projects

Implement process improvements independently

Maintain ownership and skills in all IT core business areas

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

12+ years of experience in an IT-related role or field

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience

Ability to quickly and accurately resolve advanced, complex issues while maintaining composure and focus

Excellent analytical and time management skills
