Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Our Database Revolution team builds and maintains our on-premises management platform that enables customers to deploy, monitor, and manage our clusters in secure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation frameworks
  • Validate complex workflows across hybrid environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain enterprise-grade standards

This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about automation, distributed systems, and continuous quality improvements.

Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases covering:

  • Cluster lifecycle management
  • Security
  • Networking and platform integrations
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks for REST APIs, UI testing, and system-level workflows
  • Perform performance and scalability testing
  • Validate scenarios like backup and restore, air-gapped installs, and software upgrades

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in infrastructure or enterprise software
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Java
  • Experience testing distributed systems or microservices
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and hybrid environments
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills
