Qualification : Any Engineering , with min 8 years of experience in similar role and Industry 4.0 or related field of work.

Job Location : Vadodara

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

To lead our Industry 4.0 initiatives, focusing on fully automated machines, robotics and digitalization & to oversee maintenance operations, ensure equipment reliability, and optimize plant performance.

Industry 4.0 Strategy:

1. Develop and implement Industry 4.0 strategies for manufacturing automation.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify digitalization opportunities.

3. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Automation and Digitalization:

1. Design, develop, and deploy fully automated machines using SCADA, PLC, HMI, and IoT

technologies.

2. Integrate automation systems with existing manufacturing processes and ERP/SAP systems.

3. Implement digital twin solutions for predictive maintenance and quality control.

Robotics and Machine Learning:

1. Develop and deploy robotics solutions for manufacturing processes.

2. Implement machine learning algorithms for process optimization.

3. Integrate robotics with existing automation systems.

Data Analytics and Visualization:

1. Develop and implement data analytics solutions using Industry 4.0 technologies.

2. Create data visualization dashboards for real-time monitoring and decision-making.

3. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.

Maintenance Operations:

1. Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures.

2. Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities.

3. Supervise maintenance personnel, including technicians and contractors.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

1. Manage automation & maintenance budget and expenses.

2. Optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.

3. Analyze cost-benefit ratios for automation & maintenance projects.

Safety and Compliance:

1. Ensure automation machine compliance with safety regulations and standards.

2. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.

3. Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Team Management:

1. Lead and manage a team of automation & maintenance engineers, robotics engineers, and dataanalysts.

2. Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to team members.

3. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Manufacturing Process Improvement:

1. Analyze manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.

2. Develop and implement process enhancements using automation and digitalization.

3. Monitor and measure process efficiency gains.

Technical Expertise:

1. Proficient in Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., SCADA, IIoT, AI, machine learning).

2. Experience with industrial automation protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT).

3. Knowledge of manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) /SAP systems.

4. Expertise in robotics programming (e.g., C , Python).

5. Expertise in Mitsubishi PLC, Kinco HMI, Vision camera and LabVIEW based programming.

6. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and project management skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Strong technical knowledge of maintenance principles

Certifications:

- Certified Automation Professional (CAP) or similar certification preferred.

- Industry 4.0 certifications (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell Automation) a plus.

- Certified on IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 / VDA 6.3 system

Software Skills-PLC & HMI Programming , CAD

Remarks - 8 years of experience in automation, manufacturing, or related field.- 7 years of Industry 4.0 or related field of work.

Tools Knowledge -MS office, MSA method, Any CAD software tool

Process Knowledge - Panel wiring, instruments functioning, integrated machine building, Robotic programing and Industry 4.0
