Safeguarding financial assets and ensuring accurate reporting are key responsibilities of this role.

This position requires a highly skilled finance professional with experience in establishing robust financial audit systems, implementing world-class financial systems, and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and relevant regulatory requirements.

Key objectives include:

  • Developing and implementing a financial and audit strategy aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Providing strategic financial advice and guidance to senior management on financial planning, resource allocation, and investment decisions.
  • Monitoring financial performance against budgets and strategic plans, identifying and addressing potential risks and opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and a minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in a combination of auditing, finance, and accounting roles. Professional accounting certification is highly desirable.

Required skills include expert knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices, proficiency in using financial management systems, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent budgeting and forecasting skills.

In addition, leadership skills required include strategic thinking and planning, strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of the organization.
