Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with hands-on experience in e-commerce platforms to join our team.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of end-to-end testing of e-commerce workflows such as product listings, cart functionality, checkout, and payment integration. Our team is looking for someone who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze system specifications and business requirements
  • Design and execute test cases (manual) for web and mobile platforms
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar
  • Validate fixes and conduct re-testing as needed
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester
  • Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms or applications
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with test case management tools
  • Experience working with issue tracking tools like JIRA
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools
  • Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries
  • Knowledge of automation tools is a plus but not required
