About the Mission:

Young people in India are disconnected from each other. As cities grow, people spend more time indoors and online, less time connecting meaningfully.

We're building a movement for young Indians to reconnect offline: reading books together, debating politics, brainstorming startups, volunteering, running, playing games, or finding genuine community.

The format will evolve but our mission is clear: help young Indians reconnect with each other meaningfully and offline.

Your Role

As Finance & Operations Leader, you'll lead financial strategy, fundraising, and operational scale-up of our platform. You'll ensure we have resources, systems, and processes to grow sustainably from day one.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage financial models (unit economics, CAC/LTV, marketplace liquidity).
  • Lead fundraising: prepare investor materials, pitch decks, financial modelling, and investor relations.
  • Build robust financial systems: accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, CAC/LTV analysis.
  • Oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.
Marketplace Operations
  • Design and execute marketplace operations playbook.
  • Design operational processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, event logistics.
  • Balance marketplace liquidity: ensuring enough hosts & events to meet attendee demand.
  • Build trust & safety operations: dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines.
Scaling & Partnerships
  • Oversee legal & compliance frameworks: contracts, NDAs, corporate structure, MCA compliance.
  • Forge partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
  • Develop KPI dashboards: event volume, ticket sales, host retention, repeat attendance.
  • Hire and manage community managers and operational staff as we grow.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations.
  • Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is beneficial.
  • Comfort managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support.
  • Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves in early execution.
  • Passion for building communities and scaling people-first businesses.
