Accounting Specialist

HappyLocate is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to oversee our end-to-end finance and accounting operations.

  • Petty Cash, Travel & Expense (T&E): Review, validate, and process petty cash and employee travel and expense claims in accordance with company policy.
  • Vendor Compliance and Invoice Management: Track and manage vendor contracts, agreements, process incoming invoices, verify accuracy against POs and delivery receipts, ensure timely payments, and maintain invoice records.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and share invoices with clients/customers, monitor receivables, follow up on overdue accounts, reconcile AR records, and update payment status in financial systems.
  • Daily Reports: Prepare and circulate daily business reports, support the finance team with ad hoc reporting and data analysis, ensure data accuracy and consistency in daily dashboards and reports.

Requirements:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, 1–3 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting tools such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Skills: Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of Indian tax laws, proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting/ERP software, good communication skills, ability to work independently and under pressure, detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, understanding of International Transactions.
