Senior Finance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate finance, with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in the field.

Main Responsibilities
  • Routinely process invoices through the PeopleSoft system, ensuring efficient and accurate accounting practices.
  • Meticulously verify financial data to maintain accurate accounts payable records and prevent discrepancies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, proactively resolving user issues and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with standard AP policies and procedures among employees in site and accounting roles.
  • Foster effective communication with internal and external accountants and requestors as needed.
  • Take ownership of updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process maps to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Promote process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline operations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in comprehensive accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payments, and AP reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong finance background, Commerce graduate or Postgraduate preferred.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in commercial real estate finance or a related field.
  • Excel proficiency, strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of real estate accounting, AP systems desirable, including PeopleSoft etc.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning client financial data.
  • Establish and manage client relationships through regular engagement with clients.
