Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Assurance Specialist role involves ensuring the highest quality of products by implementing effective testing strategies, identifying and mitigating defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Perform thorough functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify and report defects in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to analyze defect reports, implement fixes, and optimize QA workflows.
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality test documentation to facilitate efficient testing cycles.
  • Conduct manual testing and automate test suites to enhance release speed and efficiency.
  • Ensure usability, accessibility, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility for a superior user experience.
  • Utilize bug tracking systems and test management tools to monitor progress, track issues, and manage testing cycles.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and contribute to release management best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of quality assurance experience, preferably in a product-based environment.
  • Proficiency with test management tools, bug tracking systems, and automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms is an asset.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are essential for success.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to work effectively across teams.
  • Passion for quality assurance, continuous learning, and growth is vital for this role.
