DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our software systems. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines in a distributed environment.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Docker registry, etc.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Implementing and managing containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
  • Utilizing micro-services architecture and working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to deploy scalable applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is a plus.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines in a distributed environment.
  • Strong proficiency with tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Docker registry, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Experience with micro-services architecture and deployment on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency in one or more development languages (Java, Python, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with data mining and querying against databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Industry certifications related to DevOps and cloud platforms.
  • Previous experience in a senior or leadership role within DevOps.
