Job Title: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is a critical role in the development and maintenance of secure, high-performance cloud infrastructure.

Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure Design
  • Design and implement highly available cloud environments using GCP components including VPC, Cloud DNS, VPN, Cloud Interconnect, and Cloud CDN.
  • Implement robust security policies using IAM, Identity and Access Management (IAM), VPC Service Controls, and Cloud Security Command Center.

Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to architect solutions with cost optimization using Google Cloud Billing and Cloud Cost Management tools.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation
  • Deploy and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform for GCP automation.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring with GCP-native tools and scripting.

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.

Cloud Security & Compliance
  • Enforce best practices in IAM, encryption, network security, and ensure compliance with SOC2, ISO27001, and NIST standards.
  • Implement security solutions including Google Cloud Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, and Cloud IDS.
Monitoring & Performance Optimization
  • Set up and manage Google Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Cloud Trace, and Cloud Profiler.
  • Implement performance optimization strategies including autoscaling, cloud load balancing, caching mechanisms, and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
What We Expect of You

This is a hands-on engineering role requiring deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, cloud networking, and security.

Must-Have Skills
  • Deep hands-on experience with GCP components including IAM, Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Firestore.
  • Expertise in Terraform for GCP automation and strong knowledge of GCP networking, Linux administration, scripting (Python, Bash), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud networking, storage, and security.
Good-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless architectures, and cloud automation tools (CDK, Ansible, Packer).
  • Exposure to hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure), HPC, and DGX Cloud.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 6-8 years of hands-on cloud experience.
Professional Certifications (Preferred)
  • Google Cloud Certified Professional – Cloud Architect or Cloud DevOps Engineer.
  • Terraform Associate Certification.
