Job Title:

Information Management Specialist

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as an Information Management Specialist. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining the accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of information across various data architecture platforms.

The successful candidate will be able to analyze complex data issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. They will also work closely with stakeholders to onboard new data from internal and external sources, develop data analysis rules, and enhance data quality controls.

As part of this role, the candidate will have the opportunity to interact with business stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities, document business requirements, and participate in change control processes.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and resolving data quality issues, coordinating with data owners and teams to identify and implement solutions, onboarding data into central repositories, and analyzing business processes to improve productivity through re-engineering and data governance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, information technology, data analytics)
  • Strong domain knowledge of data management and data governance principles
  • 5+ years of experience in data management, data analytics, and data governance, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a virtual team
  • Coding experience in Python and proficiency in BI reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI
