Housekeeping Manager Job Summary

This entry-level management role supports the day-to-day operations in housekeeping, recreation, health club, and laundry. The ideal candidate will work closely with employees to maintain clean and well-organized guest rooms and public spaces, conduct thorough inspections, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee housekeeping operations, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.
  • Manage lost and found procedures, obtain room lists, and inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies for employees.
  • Efficiently communicate guest room status to the Front Desk and collaborate with the Engineering department on maintenance needs.
  • Understand and comply with loss prevention policies and procedures, providing employees with necessary equipment, uniforms, and supplies.
  • Assist in supervising an effective inspection program for all guest rooms and public spaces, manage linen inventory, and guest supplies.
Customer Service

Address guest problems and complaints, seeking assistance from a supervisor when necessary. Review comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees, setting a positive example for guest relations.
