About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Platform Engineer leader with a strong background in software engineering and business acumen to drive our global platform forward.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and develop a high-performing Platform Engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous development.
  2. Ensure timely delivery of projects and reactive work aligns with product and technology roadmaps.
  3. Coach, train, and provide career development opportunities to strengthen the team's skills and performance.
  4. Plan and allocate team capacity through project management, planning/estimation, risk management, and predictable delivery.
  5. Translate complex business problems into simple technical solutions.
  6. Contribute to product and technology roadmaps, driving innovation and growth.
  7. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system reliability.
  8. Participate in root cause analyses and post-mortems to identify areas for improvement.
  9. Lead on-call rotations for system reliability and incident response, ensuring seamless operations.
  10. Evaluate cloud infrastructure scalability and efficiency to optimize performance.
  11. Collaborate with product engineering teams to design observable software, promoting transparency and quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Recent experience in C#/.NET development, with a focus on platform engineering.
  • Proven leadership experience in Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering, with a track record of success.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes and public cloud providers, with expertise in infrastructure as code tools.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities, with a ability to balance technical and business needs.
