Account Manager

This role involves managing client relationships, developing strategic communications plans, and leading social programs in conjunction with a digital team. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving client goals and objectives, while also identifying and mitigating potential issues.

About the Role

The Account Manager will play a key part in planning and executing work that aligns with the client's business goals, priorities, and objectives. This will involve drafting and producing high-quality content, as well as providing strategic guidance and support to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client relationships and develop strategic communications plans to achieve client goals and objectives.
  • Lead social programs in conjunction with our digital team and proactively identify and manage potential client issues and crisis.
  • Draft and produce high-quality content for clients, drawing on senior support for strategic guidance and overall program plan.
Requirements
  • Demonstrates core practice-area expertise and has a thorough understanding of the client's business, commercial context, communications issues, and brand positioning.
  • Has well-developed written and verbal communication skills and is confident briefing peers and seniors.
  • Actively builds positive relations with client contact and understands how to apply integrated services to client's business.
About You

You have 4-6 years of experience in public relations, with a strong understanding of the industry and competitive landscape. You are a skilled communicator, able to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. You are also proactive, able to anticipate and address potential client issues, and have a strong network of contacts within the industry.
