Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our infrastructure operations and ensure seamless delivery of services.

About the Role:

  • This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced executive to develop and implement infrastructure strategy, encompassing on-premise data center management and cloud deployments.
  • The ideal candidate will analyze existing infrastructure effectiveness and efficiency, identifying areas for improvement or leveraging.
  • Negotiation skills are essential to procure software, hardware, and IT supplies as approved by management.
  • A strong inventory management system will be implemented to manage software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
  • The successful candidate will interact with senior management and peers to gain acceptance for alternate approaches.
  • Outsourced team management will be handled daily, ensuring smooth operations and activities.
  • The chosen professional will provide solutions to complex business problems requiring in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Disaster recovery will be performed live and DR drills periodically.
  • Expertise in servers, storage, databases, operating systems (Windows and Linux), and networks is mandatory.
  • Incident management in production environments is also required.
  • Regulatory compliance will be ensured at all times.

Requirements:

  • B Tech / BE / MCA / MBA degree

Experience:

  • At least 15 years of experience in infrastructure management for both on-premise data centers and cloud infrastructures.

Skill Set:

  • Program and project management expertise
  • Planning and executing infrastructure-related projects
  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of infrastructure, including servers, storage, databases, operating systems (Windows and Linux), and networks
  • Excellent knowledge and exposure to cloud computing

Functional Competencies:

  • Ability to perform infrastructure discovery assessments and transformation strategies
  • Holistic understanding of all data center functions, including production operations, change control, DR/business recovery, helpdesk, systems management, and facilities
  • Experience with private and public cloud architectures, pros/cons, and migration consideration
