Job Title:

Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) professional to support the execution of oil & gas engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for health, safety and environmental compliance and will play a key role in promoting a safe working culture across all project phases.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct HSE orientations, inductions and awareness sessions to workers
  • Implement HSE plans, welfare plans, emergency response procedures and site-specific HSE procedures
  • Assist in the implementation of SSOW (PTW/WMS/Risk Assessment etc.)
  • Identify and implement practical H2S control measures
  • Conduct regular HSE inspections
  • Develop and implement incident reporting and investigation procedures
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders through English language skills
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in HSE in any industry, with at least 1 year experience in construction, fabrication, installation and/or commissioning projects/operations/production in the oil & gas or petrochemical industries
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma required
  • NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent certificate required
  • Additional HSE training/certifications an advantage
