Product Design and Development Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Design and Development Engineer to join our organization.

  • Design and Development: Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD) to create innovative products from concept to production release. Ensure that designs meet specifications and are cost-effective.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, marketing, quality, and supply chain to ensure seamless product delivery. Participate in design reviews to capture feedback and improve performance.
  • Design Reviews: Lead design reviews, analyze feedback, and iterate to enhance user value and performance. Document design decisions and outcomes.
  • Documentation: Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, GD&T, BOMs, and manufacturing specifications to support production and maintenance.
  • Analysis and Troubleshooting: Conduct performance analysis using simulation tools (FEA/CFD/motion), prototype testing, and troubleshoot issues. Apply DFM/DFA techniques to optimize manufacturability, reliability, and cost.
  • Manufacturability and Reliability: Develop expertise in DFM/DFA and apply optimization techniques to drive continuous improvement. Stay up-to-date on materials, processes, and industry trends to drive innovation.

Requirements:

  • Maintain proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with simulation tools across the product lifecycle.
  • Stay current on industry trends, materials, and processes to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment manufacturing, fabrication, and stone crushing equipment industries is preferred.
