Job Overview:

This is a senior-level position requiring a strong background in product management, technical expertise, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute product lifecycle processes for Insurtech products/platforms ensuring fulfillment of product requirements.
  • Participate in technical discussions with engineering teams and manage technical/business requirements.
  • Assist in determining product delivery dates for new releases, feature and maintenance releases, and corrective service or service pack releases.
  • Mentor and drive a team of product managers while acting as a technical consultant to the product organization.
  • Evaluate and align the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering with the product business roadmap.
  • Act as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements.
  • Oversee major releases and ensure feature enhancements respond to customer requests responsible for managing schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 9 years of experience in product management including analyzing software/product design development and deployment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in technology or a related field.
  • Strong background in technical and functional product management or business analysis/product analysis in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on understanding of API integration SQL data analysis and other relevant technologies.
  • Coaching and mentoring a team of product managers or product owners.
  • Experience with delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and relevant tools.
  • Ability to influence lead and work within a global team setup.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Life and Annuity industry.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with cross-functional teams coaching and mentoring junior product managers driving innovation through research and prototyping.
