Loan Documentation Specialist

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a skilled Loan Documentation Processor to join our team. As a Loan Documentation Processor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of loan documentation for moderately complex loans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in performing a variety of loan documentation duties to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform loan documentation for moderately complex loans, including interpreting Loan Documentation policies and analyzing applicant, property, and documentation.
- Process and close loan products, managing an assigned pipeline of loans and providing guidance and training to other Loan Documentation individuals.
- Interact with the immediate Loan Documentation team and functional area on routine processes.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Perform in-depth, prefund loan reviews and validate transactions within set guidelines for Processing & Underwriting.
- Perform in-depth review of mortgage loan files, including Credit, Capacity, Capital, and Collateral documents.
- Detailed review of Capacity-related documents, such as Paystub, W2, VOE, Award letters, and Bank Statements.
- Detailed review of Capital-related documents, such as Bank Statements, Gift letters, Stocks, and Bonds.
- Detailed review of Collateral-related documents, such as Property Appraisal Reports, Flood Reports, and Purchase Agreements.
- Process and close loan products, interpreting Loan Documentation policies and analyzing applicant, property, and documentation.
- Manage an assigned pipeline of loans and provide guidance and training to other Loan Documentation individuals.
- Interact with the immediate Loan Documentation team and functional area on routine processes.
