About this role:

We are seeking a seasoned and experienced Financial Services Manager to lead fund accounting operations, manage client relationships, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality financial reporting and fund administration services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Fund Accounting Services: Accurate and timely fund accounting services including financial statements, net asset values (monthly/quarterly), capital accounts, distribution notices, and tax provisions.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinate audits.
  • Manage Client Relationships: Manage client relationships and ensure service level agreements and key performance indicators are met and exceeded.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., investor relations, information technology, center of excellence) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Process Improvements: Drive automation, efficiency, and cost improvements within processes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team with structured career development and succession planning.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and control operational risks by reviewing performance metrics and implementing a risk-based approach.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Qualifications: Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), or equivalent; master's degree from a reputable university.
  • Experience: 8+ years in fund accounting with strong exposure to private equity or hedge funds.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership in managing and developing teams within a matrix structure.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, financial reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and fund accounting systems.
  • Adaptability: Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
