Lead Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations for MV products. This role requires strategic planning, coordination, and leadership to ensure timely delivery of quality products while meeting efficiency and productivity objectives.

  • Solicit and support employees in their growth and development, fostering a positive work environment that encourages optimum performance and continued skill enhancement.
  • Craft production schedules in collaboration with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality departments to meet on-time delivery requirements and optimize resource utilization.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and system transactions to align with process and system demands.
  • Monitor and regulate inventory levels to achieve production goals with minimal impact.
  • Promote a Zero Incident Safety Culture by enforcing safety standards, including housekeeping objectives, adhering to safety protocols, addressing hazardous conditions, and championing MESH elements.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for assigned product lines to facilitate cost reduction and continuous improvement efforts in safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Establish, maintain, and audit Engineering Specifications, Bills of Material, Process Routers, Production Standards, and Standard Work for new and existing products.
  • Provide day-to-day support for assigned product lines, including investigating, analyzing, and resolving issues related to materials, tooling, equipment, and manufacturing methods/processes.
  • Participate in investigating and resolving safety and quality issues or serve as a point of contact for addressing and resolving safety/quality concerns.
  • Engage direct reports in manufacturing LEAN initiatives, including operator standard work, 5S, pull systems standard work, empowered work teams, and structured problem-solving (e.g., A3, 8D).
  • Contribute to driving plant-wide Continuous Improvement initiatives stemming from key projects.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in similar roles with progressive responsibility in manufacturing, including product knowledge of MV (RMU).

This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to motivate and engage team members, and a thorough understanding of manufacturing principles, engineering practices, and quality assurance methods.

Successful candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts to all levels of the organization.

Experience working with ERP systems, such as SAP, is highly desirable.
