Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst with expertise in data analytics platforms, particularly SAP HANA and Snowflake. This role will play a critical part in the migration of enterprise data solutions from HANA to Snowflake, ensuring business continuity, data integrity, and performance optimization.

We require an individual who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, working closely with data architects, developers, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify relationship between data sets.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work with business stakeholders to understand and collate the analytics and reporting requirements. They will analyze and conduct feasibility studies of the requirements, collaborate with the capabilities team to identify source systems, source data sets, and source tables needed to fulfill the requirements.

They will convert functional requirements to technical solutions, create detailed business requirement documents (BRD) and functional design documents, and perform functional unit testing of the solution.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including data engineers, BI developers, and business analysts. Experience with cloud platforms and knowledge of BI tools is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work with business stakeholders to understand and collate the analytics and reporting requirements.
  2. Analyze and conduct feasibility studies of the requirements.
  3. Collaborate with the capabilities team to identify source systems, source data sets, and source tables needed to fulfill the requirements.
  4. Convert functional requirements to technical solutions.
  5. Create detailed business requirement documents (BRD) and functional design documents.
  6. Perform functional unit testing of the solution.
  7. Support Business teams for completion of User Acceptance Testing.
  8. Facilitate communication between business and IT.
  9. Support deployment of technical solution to production.
  10. Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  11. Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance in the new Snowflake environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering roles.
  • Understand Supply Chain business processes.
  • Experienced in working on Analytics related projects and implementation.
  • Good exposure to SAP ERP systems like ECC or S/4HANA.
  • Understand data modelling concepts (HANA Modelling would be added advantage).
  • Ability to identify relationship between data sets.
  • Exposure to SQL queries and ability to query data for analysis/troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to BI reporting tools.
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
