Data Migration Expert

As a Data Migration Expert, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless data transitions between systems.

This position requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the migration of assigned data objects during deployment or local data migration projects.
  • Collaborate with Business Data Owners (BDOs), Functional Experts, ETL teams, legacy system teams, and deployment teams.
  • Drive migration activities for deployment projects and verify data transformation tools and outputs.
  • Manage DMW load file preparation, perform initial verification, and execute DVT scripts.
  • Coordinate defect resolution or escalate to Global Data Migration Experts as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards such as GxP and CSV.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • More than 10 years of ERP project implementation experience with expertise in data migration.
  • Proven experience in data migration execution across multi-country, multi-system environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP BODS and strong understanding of GxP and CSV requirements.
  • SAP Certified in at least one relevant functional area.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrix-based organization.
Preferred Experience:
  • Exposure to healthcare or regulated industry environments.
  • Prior experience leading data migration in large ERP programs.
