About the Opportunity:

  • Seeks a seasoned TRS professional to spearhead Product Safety and Technical Regulation initiatives.
  • The selected candidate will define and implement TR-S and Product Safety strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • This role demands collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement projects and deliver value in project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply TR-S and Product Safety Systems covering safety and liability risks of products and services.
  • Create and propose budgets for TR-S and Product Safety initiatives, allocate resources accordingly, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stay updated on current regulatory developments and represent the business in technical committees.
  • Contribute to analyzing technical regulations and standards, provide expertise and guidance to businesses, and lead Product Safety communities within the organization.
  • E nsure compliance with applicable legal, normative, and business-specific requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy engineering, or related technical field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in the Power sector domain, with added advantage of having worked in similar roles.
  • Ability to work independently, interface directly with different businesses, communicate effectively, and make informed decisions.
