Search Solution Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Search Solution Specialist to lead our technical team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient search solutions using Apache Solr and/or OpenSearch.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Schema Design - Develop effective schema designs, indexing pipelines, query parsing, clustering, and replication strategies for large-scale search systems.
  • Cloud Deployment - Utilize AWS services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, or CDK to deploy workloads efficiently.
  • Collaboration - Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement search relevance concepts, including tokenization, stemming, analyzers, boosting, and query-time vs index-time strategies.
  • Certainty in Quality - Implement CI/CD and automated testing expertise (unit, integration, performance) to ensure high-quality search results.
Key Qualifications:
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with Apache Solr and/or OpenSearch.
  • 3+ years professional .NET (C#) development experience.
  • Proven track record of deploying workloads on AWS.
  • Solid understanding of search relevance concepts.
  • CI/CD and automated testing expertise.
