Software Engineer Position

We are seeking a talented and experienced software engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features, maintaining and enhancing existing ones, testing and deploying code, creating back-end components, integrating user-facing elements, and ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile devices.

  • Create innovative and high-quality software solutions
  • Maintain and improve existing software applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and implement effective testing strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement

To excel in this role, we require the following skills and qualifications:

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in web-based software development
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience working with Ruby on Rails and ability to write clean Ruby code
  • Proficiency with code versioning tools like Bitbucket, Git, Github
  • Familiarity with MVC, REST
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3 and Bootstrap framework
  • Familiarity with database technology and SQL programming (we use MySQL)
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools (we use Jira, Scrum)
  • Proficient with Linux distributions like Ubuntu
