Job Title

As a skilled and compassionate Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.

  • Manage the front desk with efficiency, greeting patients, visitors, and vendors with a warm and welcoming attitude.
  • Handle patient registrations, appointment scheduling, and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments with ease.
  • Expertly process mediclaim forms, verify insurance policies, and coordinate with patients and insurance companies for cashless treatment approvals.
  • Verify patient coverage, pre-authorization requirements, and communicate effectively with the hospital billing department and insurance companies to track claim status.
  • Respond to insurance-related queries from patients, providing accurate information on claim procedures and protocols.
Billing and Administrative Support:
  • Assist in preparing patient bills, ensuring all services, treatments, and procedures are accurately documented and up-to-date.
  • Process payments, manage cash, and issue receipts with precision and attention to detail.
  • Support the billing team with documentation needs for cashless transactions and ensure timely submission of claims.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including insurance documentation and claims history.
  • Update and organize patient data in our hospital management system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years as a Receptionist or Front Desk Executive in a hospital or healthcare setting, with hands-on experience in mediclaim and cashless insurance processing.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, additional qualifications in hospital administration or related fields are an asset.
  • Skills: Familiarity with mediclaim processes, insurance policy verification, and cashless billing procedures; Proficient in MS Office and hospital management software; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information; Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
