Job Description

The role of IT Administrator involves managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

This position requires hands-on technical expertise and proactive problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and implement security protocols.

  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, networks, printers, and systems.
  • Monitoring system performance, identifying potential problems, and ensuring optimal uptime.
  • Management of user accounts, access rights, and security permissions.
  • Providing technical support to employees and resolving IT-related queries.
  • Overseeing data backups, recovery processes, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Implementation and monitoring of IT security measures (firewalls, antivirus, patching, etc.).
  • Coordination with vendors for procurement, maintenance, and service support.
  • Maintenance of inventory of IT assets (laptops, desktops, servers, network devices, etc.).
  • Ensuring compliance with IT policies and data protection guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 2–4 years of experience as an IT Administrator/System Administrator or similar role.

Key qualifications include:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
  • Hands-on experience with networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, routers, switches).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, etc.).
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
