Cloud Infrastructure Manager

This role involves overseeing the administration of cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing virtual machines, storage, networking, and other cloud services. They will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining cloud security protocols and related identity management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management:
  • Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage, networking, and other cloud services.
  • Implement and maintain cloud security protocols and related identity management solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and costs.
  • Office 365 Administration:
  • Manage and support Office 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Administer user accounts, licenses, and permissions within Office 365, ensuring compliance and security.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide support for Office 365 services across the organization.
  • Security & Compliance:
  • Implement security best practices, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), data loss prevention (DLP), and access controls.
  • Monitor for potential security threats and take action to resolve vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational security policies.
  • Automation & Optimization:
  • Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell) for automated cloud and Office 365 administration tasks.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement automation to increase efficiency.
  • Backup, Recovery, and Disaster Recovery:
  • Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for critical cloud services.
  • Regularly test and update recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Documentation & Training:
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for cloud infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and training to other IT staff on cloud administration best practices.
