Structural Team Lead Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Team Lead to oversee our structural engineering and BIM projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding a team of engineers and modelers, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality deliverables in line with project timelines and standards.

  • Main responsibilities include leading and managing the structural engineering & BIM team on multiple projects.
  • Reviewing and guiding the development of structural drawings, models, and construction documentation.
  • Coordinating with architectural, MEP, and construction teams for project integration.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry codes, project specifications, and BIM execution plans.
  • Performing design checks, clash detection, and model validation.
  • Mentoring and training junior engineers and BIM modelers.
  • Monitoring project progress, allocating resources, and ensuring on-time delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in structural engineering and BIM/construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of structural design principles, building codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Tekla, AutoCAD) and structural analysis tools (ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE).
  • Experience in managing a team and delivering coordinated BIM models.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
