Job Title:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate overall instrumentation projects and ensure seamless implementation of DHARMA.
  • Review instrumentation plans in Project Screening Templates (PSTs) and finalize them concerning instrumentation, SCADA, and Surveillance & Control Systems.
  • Provide technical support for Centralized Control and Command Centres in State capitals and individual control rooms at dams.
  • Oversee data collection, transmission, processing, and analysis, and finalize outcome report protocols.
  • Maintain proper Operations and Maintenance of established instrumentation at dams.
  • Manage technical hardware, software, and data transmission for all instrumentation plans.
  • Prepare technical bid documents focusing on bill of quantities, technical specifications, and instrument selection based on dam type.
  • Define qualifying criteria for instrumentation and monitoring systems.
  • Conduct third-party inspections and manage transmittals.
  • Facilitate capacity building through customized training programs.
  • Contribute to the revision of guidelines and formulation of new ones related to instrumentation and monitoring.
  • Provide inputs for National Website and Management Information System.
  • Support development of in-house expertise at Academic Institutes.
  • Develop a Training Calendar for DHARMA implementation and customized training programs on Instrumentation and Monitoring Systems.
  • Conduct need-based inspections of dams.

About You:

  • You should have a degree in any branch of Engineering with at least 10 years of experience in planning and execution of instrumentation projects.
  • You must be proficient in technical specifications of instruments, SCADA, Surveillance, Control System, automation, and data analysis.
  • You should have experience in work supervision of installation and commissioning of dam instrumentation.
