Financial Accountant Role

The position of Financial Accountant is a crucial one, requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.

The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting principles, be proficient in accounting software, and possess excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely entry of financial data.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support the audit process.
  • Prepare and file statutory returns and financial reports as required.
  • Support the management with financial analysis and reporting as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial accounting role.
  • Proficient in accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of Indian taxation and financial regulations.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Good communication skills in English and Tamil.
