Job Description\

As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and engineering software that prioritizes customer experience.

\

You will play a key role in the engineering center of excellence, collaborating with other teams to improve the bank's overall software engineering capability.

\

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Design and engineer software solutions that meet customer needs and expectations.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement software solutions.\
  • Develop and maintain architecture models and roadmaps to ensure alignment with business requirements.\
  • Work with feature teams to produce high-quality software rapidly.\
  • Determine the design and delivery approach for software throughout its lifecycle.\
  • Act as a point of contact for solution design considerations.
\Required Skills and Qualifications\

To succeed in this role, you will need significant experience in software engineering, software or database design and architecture.

\

Additionally, you will require experience of developing software within a DevOps and Agile framework.

\

Programming best practice experience is also essential, particularly around scalability, automation, virtualization, optimization, availability, and performance.

\

Desirable Skills:

\
  • 14+ years of experience in cloud technologies and API design.\
  • Experience with code repositories, bug tracking tools, and wikis.\
  • Experience with voice (IVR) applications and ability to pilot new features.\
  • Good understanding of change delivery frameworks, scaled agile, and compliance requirements.
