This role is responsible for overseeing the cybersecurity of one or multiple regions, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Act as a liaison between regional cybersecurity teams and the global organization.
  2. Manage and oversee regional cybersecurity initiatives, including risk assessments, compliance, and incident response.
  3. Collaborate with regional teams to implement cybersecurity best practices and standards.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with regional stakeholders, including IT leaders and business partners.
  5. Ensure seamless communication and coordination with global cybersecurity teams.
  6. Provide guidance and support to regional teams on cybersecurity matters.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a regional or international setting.
  • Proven track record of managing complex cybersecurity projects and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret and analyze complex data.
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST).
