Auditor for Cybersecurity Operations

This position involves working as part of a cybersecurity team to monitor and identify security threats within an organization's IT infrastructure. As a SOC Analyst, you will be responsible for detecting, responding to, and mitigating potential cyberattacks. Your role will also involve guiding associates and peers, as well as obtaining relevant certifications.

• Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyze IT systems and data to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities. This includes performing risk assessments and analyzing system logs to detect anomalies.
• Cybersecurity Protocols: Develop, implement, and maintain effective cybersecurity protocols and procedures to prevent and respond to security breaches. This includes staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge, best practices, and resources. This includes providing guidance and support to junior team members and peers.
• Certifications and Training: Obtain and maintain relevant certifications in cybersecurity, such as ISO LA, CISA, CISSP, and AWS CCP. Stay current with industry developments and participate in ongoing training and professional development.

• Bachelor's Degree: A degree in accounting, finance, business management, technology, or a related field is required. Alternatively, equivalent years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified are acceptable.
• Professional Experience: At least 2 years of related professional services experience in information security auditing, assessment, consulting, or compliance focused on ITGC or SOC controls is required.
• Certifications: Maintains (preferred) or working towards obtaining at least one certification relevant to Schellman's services, such as CPA, CCSK, or CISA.
