We are looking for a skilled professional to fill the role of Software Engineer in Test.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for our web and mobile applications. They will work closely with QA, development, and DevOps teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software at speed.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development, with a focus on test automation and software engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect, implement, and maintain automated tests using Cypress for end-to-end UI testing.
  • Develop and extend test frameworks in C# and TypeScript for API, integration, and unit testing.
  • Configure and schedule nightly executions of UI tests using GitHub Actions
  • Analyse test results, triage failures, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
  • Write clear, maintainable, and reusable test code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Continuously improve test coverage, performance, and reliability.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers on automation tools and techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation for web applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing.
  • Proficiency in C# and/or TypeScript, with solid object-oriented programming fundamentals.
  • Experience building and maintaining test frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit, Jest).
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps: pipelines, repos, artifacts, and test plans.
  • Working knowledge of AWS: provisioning, IAM, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Comfortable with Git and modern development workflows (feature branches, pull requests, code reviews).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
