Job Overview

A skilled Power BI Developer is sought after by our organization to drive enterprise data initiatives forward. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Data Engineering and Reporting solutions, combining hands-on data engineering and ETL development with business intelligence and Power BI reporting delivery.

The role requires technical proficiency in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI, with the ability to build scalable data pipelines and develop high-quality dashboards and reports that enable better decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development:
  • Create innovative Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and self-service datasets that meet business requirements.
  • Implement data models tailored for reporting, ensuring timely and accurate insights for stakeholders.
  • Develop reusable DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and semantic layers to support reporting needs.
  • Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis and report automation.
  • Data Engineering & Integration:
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to load and transform data into data warehouses and marts.
  • Collaborate with onsite data architects and engineers to ensure data quality, consistency, and performance.
  • Build optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into reporting environments.
  • Collaboration & Offshore Delivery:
  • Collaborate with onsite leads, data architects, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide status updates, documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure alignment with enterprise BI initiatives.
  • Maintain consistent coding standards and best practices with offshore team members.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of reporting workflows.
