About the Job

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Lead to spearhead the development of our stablecoin payments initiative. This exciting project aims to tap into the rapidly growing stablecoin market, with clear product-market fit in payments and cross-border use cases.

The successful candidate will lead a small team of engineers, overseeing the design and implementation of backend systems that scale securely and reliably. A key aspect of this role will be building integrations with on/off-ramp providers across geographies, many of which lack mature APIs or documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead backend development of web and mobile applications
  • Design and scale backend systems powering payments and settlements
  • Build robust infrastructures on top of fragmented provider APIs across markets
  • Guide technical discussions and own architecture for integrations and scaling
  • Mentor and manage a small engineering team across infra + app layers
  • Ensure security, scalability, and regulatory readiness in architecture
  • Own delivery timelines and establish engineering best practices

About You

  • 6+ years of experience in backend engineering
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and API design
  • Fintech or payments background is highly desirable
  • Proven track record of building integrations with external APIs/partners across geographies
  • Experience leading small teams and scaling early-stage systems
