Electrical Modelling Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in electrical design, Revit MEP and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. A strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and cable routing is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage 3D electrical models using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
  • Create electrical layouts, schematics, conduit/tray routing, panel schedules, and lighting and ELV systems.
  • Prepare electrical circuit layouts, schematics, and construction drawings.
  • Ensure clash detection and resolution by coordinating with other MEP disciplines.
  • Generate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and installation drawings based on design models.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors for BIM execution and coordination.
  • Adhere to project-specific BIM standards, LOD requirements, and documentation protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in BIM electrical modelling for MEP projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360, Di-Roots, Dynamo.
  • Strong knowledge of building information modelling (BIM) software and multidisciplinary collaboration.

This role requires an individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are also essential for success in this position.
