Quality Assurance and Quality Control Specialist

The reliability, safety, and compliance of space-grade components and systems require meticulous attention to detail.

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) professional to join our team. As a key member of our production facility, you will ensure the highest standards of quality in design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing phases of spacecraft and subsystems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop quality plans, procedures, and standards based on industry regulations.
  • Participate in design reviews to embed quality requirements.
  • Conduct audits and process evaluations across vendors and internal teams.
  • Ensure traceability and configuration control of components and documentation.
  • Support risk management and failure mode analysis.

Inspecting and Testing:

  • Perform inspection and testing of incoming components, in-process assemblies, and final products.
  • Monitor and verify compliance with acceptance test procedures.
  • Coordinate environmental testing and review results.
  • Investigate non-conformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Maintain calibration and certification records of test equipment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in aerospace or space systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards like ECSS, ISRO-PAS, MIL-STD-883, IPC-A-610.
  • Hands-on experience with inspection tools, test benches, and environmental chambers.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with satellite subsystems such as Reaction Wheel, Battery, EPS, CDH.
  • Experience with satellite Assembly & Integration QA/QC.
  • Knowledge of reliability engineering and statistical quality control.
  • Exposure to cleanroom protocols and ESD-safe handling.
  • Certification/Knowledge in Six Sigma, AS9100, or ISO 9001 is a plus.
