Skilled Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled fabricator to join our team.

Job Description:

  • The successful candidate will have experience in SMAW, MIG, TIG, FCAW, or SAW welding and be able to work with structural steel components such as beams, columns, base plates, stiffeners, etc.
  • The ideal candidate will read and interpret welding symbols, fabrication drawings, and WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) accurately.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality welding services in accordance with ASME/AWS/IS/EN standards.
  • Conduct fit-up, tack welding, and final welding as per approved procedures.
  • Collaborate with QA/QC team for weld inspection, NDT clearance, and rework if required.
  • Maintain tools, welding machines, and housekeeping in the work area.
  • Adhere to safety standards (use of PPE, fire watch, hot work permits, etc.).

Requirements:

  • ITI certification
  • 2–7 years of experience in industrial fabrication or construction
  • Valid Welding Certifications (ASME/AWS/IS preferred)
  • Ability to work from fabrication drawings and welding symbols
  • Physically fit and capable of working in confined spaces or at height
  • Knowledge of materials (CS, SS, alloy steel, etc.)
