Job Title: Senior E-commerce Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual QA Engineer with hands-on experience in e-commerce platforms to join our growing QA team.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of end-to-end testing of e-commerce workflows, including product listings, cart functionality, checkout, and payment integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review system specifications and business requirements for seamless e-commerce operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for quality throughout the development lifecycle to ensure error-free e-commerce experiences
  • Design and execute test cases (manual) for web and mobile platforms to validate e-commerce feature functionalities
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features to identify potential issues
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla to facilitate issue resolution
  • Validate fixes and conduct re-testing as needed to ensure high-quality e-commerce solutions
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues and improve overall e-commerce quality
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation to enhance e-commerce quality assurance

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester with expertise in e-commerce platforms
  • Proven experience testing e-commerce applications with strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and issue tracking tools like JIRA
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment to achieve e-commerce quality goals
  • Familiarity with cross-browser and mobile testing to ensure e-commerce feature compatibility

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools to further enhance e-commerce quality assurance
  • Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries to support e-commerce data analysis
  • Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus but not required to automate e-commerce testing
  • Exposure to platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built e-commerce systems to expand e-commerce knowledge
