Project Lead – Architect

As a seasoned project lead with expertise in architectural consultancy, you will drive innovative design and regulatory excellence across diverse sectors.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage large-scale projects with full design and regulatory strategy oversight.
  • Own small to mid-value projects independently — managing design, compliance, and delivery.
  • Prepare and review architectural documentation to meet client and statutory requirements.
  • Chair meetings, coordinate teams, set clear project goals, and manage resources to meet deadlines.

Technical Expertise:

  • Review architectural drawings for accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify and resolve design or coordination issues in MEP systems.
  • Collaborate with internal and external engineers to prevent technical clashes.

Compliance & Permit Liaison:

  • Owning permit application strategy and maintaining communication with authorities.
  • Interpreting and enforcing building codes, fire regulations, and guidelines.
  • Submitting compliance documents and managing responses to authority queries.

Team & Process Management:

  • Mentoring architects, drafters, and interns to ensure well-coordinated outputs.
  • Upholding high-quality standards for documentation and design integrity.
  • Developing quality control protocols for architectural coordination.

Requirements:

  • Accredited degree in Architecture.
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience leading commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Deep experience preparing and submitting statutory documents to agencies.
  • Proficient in CAD software and MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and standards.
  • Registered Architect with the COA is preferred.
