Regulatory Specialist

This is a pivotal role in our organization's Legal Regulatory Department, requiring a regulatory specialist to navigate international and domestic telecommunications/commtech regulatory matters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law, with experience in telecommunications/commtech regulation and a basic understanding of emerging technologies such as IoT, CPaaS, CaaS, and cloud-based services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring telecommunications regulatory licensing and ongoing compliance
  • Supporting senior regulatory counsels in advising commercial teams on regulatory matters
  • Preparing regulatory reports (internal and external)
  • Negotiating with government officials, external counsel, customers, and suppliers

Essential skills and qualifications include:

  • Law degree from a recognized institution
  • 5+ years' experience in telecommunications/commtech regulation or TMT at a major law firm
  • Knowledge of general telecommunications regulatory and corporate law
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to engage with colleagues across international jurisdictions and time zones
