As a seasoned professional in business analysis, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing business systems to deliver innovative solutions to clients. This entails effective planning, reporting, and analysis tools for internal operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Formulate and define system scope and objectives through rigorous research and fact-finding
- Design or modify moderately complex information systems, including analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic challenges as necessary
- Mentor and advise less-experienced Business Systems Analysts
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and analyze data, presenting findings back to them
- Utilize PowerBI to create functional working product prototypes to facilitate solutioning and requirements elicitation
- Query systems data using SQL
- Coordinate and drive projects from concept through to finalization under general supervision
- 6 years' experience in IT within a lab setting; 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst within a lab/clinical trials setting preferred
- Knowledge of business-wide applications and related products
- Ability to comprehend client requirements and underlying infrastructure applications, systems, and processes
- Thorough knowledge of relevant data and current systems
- Ability to query data using SQL
- Knowledge and ability to use PowerBI to effectively present analytical data
