Role: Senior Look Dev Artist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled senior lookdev artist to join our creative team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the visual identity of large-scale, photoreal, and cinematic projects. You'll be responsible for look development, shading, set building and rendering workflows that push the boundaries of realism and artistry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, refine, and maintain materials, shaders, textures & Large Scale Environments to achieve photorealistic and cinematic results.
  • Define and implement look development standards across large-scale environments (20–50 km), ensuring optimised and efficient asset workflows.
  • Collaborate with fx, animation and other teams to maintain consistency and quality across productions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimise scenes for performance in both offline and real-time rendering pipelines.
  • Ensure the highest level of detail and artistic quality, maintaining alignment with the project's creative vision.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 6–7 years of professional experience in look development, shading, set building and rendering.
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise in V-Ray, Octane, Cinema 4d and Unreal Engine 5+ (with strong understanding of path tracing and optimisation).
  • Artistic Foundation: Strong eye for set composition, color theory, and aesthetics with proven ability to achieve photoreal output.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in DCC tools such as Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D, Maya, and Substance.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced production environment.
