Job Title: Visual Storyteller

We are seeking a skilled and creative professional to join our team as a Visual Storyteller. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of storytelling and the ability to create compelling visual content tailored for digital platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for editing short and long-form video content for various digital platforms, including social media, YouTube, reels, ads, and campaigns.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Edit video content to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement through video.
  • Work closely with the creative, social media, and marketing teams to understand content strategy and execute video outputs that align with brand tone and objectives.
  • Trim footage segments and assemble sequences while adding transitions, music, voiceovers, effects, and graphics as needed.
  • Create motion graphics and simple animations in Adobe After Effects or similar tools to elevate video content.
  • Maintain and manage a library of raw footage, edited versions, and project files with proper naming conventions and organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with video trends, platform updates, and audience preferences to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Handle basic audio editing, color correction, and visual enhancements to deliver polished final products.
  • Evaluate projects and ensure they are completed within deadlines and delivered in required formats and resolutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably for digital media or social platforms.
  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with creative and marketing teams.
  • A well-prepared portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing skills and creative storytelling.
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and sound editing.
  • Familiarity with video formats and best practices for various social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
